Welcome to Lego Sci-fi! This site was inspired by the fantastic Lego Star Wars Trilogy, which was built many years before the official kit was available.  A common question asked is 'can I get blueprints to build these models myself?' Sadly I don't create blueprints for these models, I just take pictures and then dismantle them.

However - I can provide some hints and tips in case you are looking to build models yourself. If you have any Lego in the attic then get it all out! If you need more basic bricks then see if you can buy other peoples' collections second hand. The next thing is to organise it properly - most people's Lego will be in a cardboard box mixed up with plasticene, buttons and other objects. Go through piece by piece and separate the Lego. Clean everything up, you might have stickers etc to remove. Then organise it in colours - you'll find that you'll build things quickly this way. Other things might need separating like trees, wheels, people, signs, lights. See the picture for an example. Now you're ready! If you need specialist bits and pieces, then it's time to visit the official online Lego shop. I used it to get enough trees for a forest!
